At a ceremony held at the Jubilee House in Accra, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has sworn in Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie as the new Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Service.
President Mahama also officially announced the appointment of DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow-Sapong as the Acting Chief Fire Officer and DCI Samuel Basintale Amadu as the Acting Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service pending the constitution of their respective Councils.
In his speech, President Mahama assured the new Security Service Chiefs of Government’s commitment to providing the necessary resources to enable them to carry out their respective mandates effectively.
The President also tasked them with providing visionary leadership, implementing needed reforms, and upholding professionalism in their respective services.
Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (Esq.) thanked the President on behalf of the new Security Service Chiefs, assuring him in delivering to the best of their abilities in making their respective services better.
In attendance were H.E. the Vice President, Chief of Staff, Ministers for the Interior and Defence and some Government Officials.
