The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Congo to Ghana, Mr. Jean Pierre Diassouka, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery at his office in Accra to discuss bilateral issues between the two countries.
Mr. Jean Pierre Diassouka commended Ghana for being at the forefront of peacekeeping missions in Africa.
He noted that it is important for African countries to build relationships and collaborate with other African countries on the prevention of war and conflicts in the region.
The Minister for the Interior, Mr. Ambrose Dery on his part, reiterated Ghana’s commitment to security not just in Ghana but Africa as a whole.
He stated that security collaboration on the continent is a collective effort and essential to the
progress of Africa.
The Hon. Minister thanked Mr. Jean Pierre Diassouka for his visit and said he looked forward to future collaborations between the two countries
