The Hon. Deputy Minister for the Interior, Naana Eyiah led the staff of the Ministry to plant trees at the forecourt of the Ministry as part of the 2022 Green Ghana Day which is on the theme, ‘Mobilising for a Greener Future’.
The initiative, which was introduced in 2021 by His Excellency President Akufo-Addo, aims at creating enhanced national awareness of the necessity for collective action towards the restoration of degraded landscapes in the country.
Interacting with staff after the tree planting, Hon. Naana Eyiah urged the staff and the public to support the Government’s laudable initiative by planting trees in their various homes and communities for greener environment and clean atmosphere.
