The Ministry of the Interior has organized the End of Year Staff Durbar at the Ministry in Accra.
Addressing the Staff, Hon. Ambrose Dery, Minister for the Interior expressed his gratitude to Management and Staff for their continued good work and the success chalked over the years.
He said the contribution of the Staff cannot be overemphasized and therefore needs to be acknowledged to encourage them to do best. He called for unity and collaboration amongst Staff and encouraged them to continue to contribute their quota towards the development of the Ministry and the country as a whole.
The Hon. Minister urged them to be conscious of the Coronavirus pandemic and comply with the COVID-19 protocols to avoid contracting the disease.
Hon. Ambrose Dery said the Ministry is committed and will do its best to execute its policies, plans and programmes and ensure peace and security for the good people of Ghana.
The Hon. Deputy Minister for the Interior, Naana Eyiah, also thanked the Staff for their diverse roles played in achieving the goal of the Ministry. She expressed hopefully that next year will be better than before.
On her part, the Chief Director of the Ministry, Mrs Adelaide Anno-Kumi, was grateful to God for the lives of the Staff and a successful year. She wished them a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. She urged them to be security cautious so that they do not fall prey to fausdters.
